What We Do
If your dog’s behaviour is causing you concern, our Members can help you understand the problem and help you work towards putting it right.
Problems such as:
- Aggressive behaviour towards humans or other dogs
- Chasing: Cars, Bikes, Joggers, livestock
- Inappropriate Barking
- Compulsive Behaviours
- Nervous or fearful behaviour
And much more besides
- Members of the UKRCB work closely with veterinary surgeons to help clients and their dog/s overcome the problem.
- Consultations may take place at the consultant’s practice, the client’s home or on occasions at the veterinary surgery.
- Problem behaviour is discussed with the client and an acceptable modification programme suggested. A written report is supplied and if requested a copy sent to the veterinary surgeon.
- Members keep in close touch with the clients in order to monitor progress and provide continuous support.
The cost of consultations varies from region to region. Contact your local member for further information. In some instances the cost of a consultation may be covered by your pet insurance policy.
